About the Board
- President - Leads board and coordinates with Northstars coaching staff, the Park Paseo HOA and Irvine Swim League.
- Vice President - Assists the President on specified tasks, including acting on behalf of the president in his/her absence.
- Secretary - Records minutes of the board, generates correspondence, and plans special events.
- Treasurer - Develops the team budget, processes transactions, maintains financial records and prepares reports.
- Volunteer Coordinator - Assigns jobs to swim parents and manages their attendance/performance at swim meets.
- Registrar - Oversees registration of new and returning swimmers at the beginning of each season.
- Meet Manager - Leads the setup and breakdown of Northstars home meets.
Board members recieve one paid registration (i.e., one swimmer free) and are not required to fill volunteer "jobs" during the season. The Board manages the team in a manner consistent with the team's by-laws.
